Early Bird Tickets Available In Wakestock Festival

Early Bird tickets are still running sale in Wakestock festival 2011 before the artist announcements are going to kick off soon.

From Friday 10th December at least 500 folk will be available in here still at 2010 prices. At Cardigan Bay, North Wales this year's will run from 8th - 10th July.

They said, "We’ve never announced acts this early. We’re crazy excited about revealing the first names on this years bill... all will be revealed."

Previous year event hosted sets from the Blood Red Shoes, Hurts, Los Campesinos, Frankie & The Heartstrings and Robyn.

Relentless Wakestock is Europe's major wakeboard Music Festival. It take place on the Llyn Peninsula in NorthWales. Wakestock festival is divided over three sites the chief festival site at Penrhos, Pwllheli Marina hosts the main wakeboard rivalry and Abersoch Bay hosts the Big Air Classic contest is held. The foundation of Wakestock festival was in 2000. Currently it is the leading wakeboard music festival in Europe, with 25,000 people joining the festival in 2010, which will take place from 20 July - 21 July.

The Ting Tings Set to Rock Wakestock Festival.


The Ting Tings and Band Of Skulls are among the names added to the line-up for this year's Wakestock festival.

Set to join the likes of Maximo Park and Plan B at the event, other acts appearing at the bash include Tinie Tempah, Chase and Status, Wiley, Los Campesinos! and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.

Taking place in Abersoch, North Wales between 2nd & 4th July.

First names unveiled for Wakestock 2010

Geordie indie group Maximo Park head up the first acts confirmed for this year's Wakestock.
Wakestock will take place at Abersoch Bay, Wales from 2-4 July.Wakestock is Europe's biggest wakeboarding tournament during the day before it launches into a full-on music festival at night. The North Wales event has evolved from a few speakers in a car park to a two-day affair, now now back for its 11th year.All the action on the waves takes place in Pwllheli Marina while just back from the coast and up in the hills there are several marquees, an outdoor main stage and a fairground for revellers to enjoy.Expect to be washed over by rock, dance, breaks, drum and bass and hip hop over the weekend.

Wakestock Abersoch festival named as one of UK’s best




LAST summer’s Relentless Wakestock event has been nominated in three categories at this year’s prestigious UK Festival Awards.


And organisers need public support to stand a chance of winning.
After a hugely successful 10th anniversary year, Wakestock is nominated in the following categories –


Best Medium Sized Festival, Best Headline Performance, and Best Toilets.


A spokeswoman said: “It is a great opportunity for Relentless Wakestock and the loyal fans that return year on year to gain acknowledgement for helping to make the event the success it is today.


“Such awards provide a boost to continue to make improvements to the event. It also puts the area on the map in the festival calendar.
“The event goes from strength to strength and values the support of all those who attend. Now is your chance to show it! “
The winner is determined by public vote.

awards.com and look out for Wakestock in the relevant categories.


Vote must be cast before October 14 to make sure they make it through to the final shortlist drawn up comprising of the top 10 nominees in each category.


Final voting then decides the winners who will be announced on stage on November 19 at the UK Festival Awards Ceremony at the IndigO2 in London
