How to get to Wakestock Festival Wales

BY CAR

FROM THE NORTH – Follow the M56 for Chester and North Wales (A55). Stay on the A55 past Rhyl, Llandudno, and Conwy. Take the turning for Bangor and Caernarfon (A487) and follow the signs for Caernarfon. Stay on this road through Caernarfon and then take the A499 for Pwllheli. Upon entering Pwllheli follow the yellow AA signs which will take you through the town and along the A499 towards Abersoch. The Penrhos festival site is approx a mile and a half along this road on the right hand side – keep an eye out for the signs that direct you to the correct car park.

FROM THE SOUTH – Take the M54 to Telford, and then join the A5 towards Shrewsbury. Follow the A5 through Oswestry, Llangollen and Corwen. Follow the signs for Bala (you will turn left onto the A494) After about 10 miles you will arrive in Bala, as you enter Bala take a right onto the A4212 stay on this road for about 20 miles when you will reach a T-junction. At this junction turn right onto the A470 towards Porthmadog. Carry on through Porthmadog until you reach a roundabout – take the first exit on the left for the A497 to Criccieth and Pwllheli. Upon entering Pwllheli follow the yellow AA signs that take you to the A499 towards Abersoch. The Penrhos site is approximately a mile and a half along this road on the right hand side – keep an eye out for the signs which will direct you to the correct car park.

The extra traffic over the weekend is on of the greatest impacts Relentless Wakestock has on the local area. One way we can reduce traffic and help reduce the festival carbon footprint is to liftshare to the site. BY TRAIN OR BUS The most conveniant train station to get to the festival is Bangor. From Bangor train station you can get on the Wakestock bus service which will take you straight up to the festival site, or alternatively just jump in a taxi. National Express run a service to Pwllheli from various cities around the UK - National Express is the UK's largest coach operator and with links to over 1000 destinations across the UK you are guaranteed a seat to Pwllheli in comfort.

BUS LINKS FROM BANGOR STATION
If you're planning to travel to Relentless Wakestock by train you will be able to pre-book your bus links direct to the festival site through us. Buses will be departing at various points througout the day and tickets are on sale now. PLEASE NOTE - TICKETS FOR THE BANGOR BUS LINKS ARE NO LONGER ON SALE. YOU CAN STILL BOOK RETURN COACH TRAVEL BETWEEN MANCHESTER AND THE SITE WITH NATIONAL EXPRESS. Tickets are £5 / single ticket or £10 / return ticket - spaces are limited so please make sure you book in advance!

BY AIR
There is no airport in the immediate vicinity of the festival. However if you are travelling from abroad the closest airports to the site are Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham. From any of these airports you can connect with a train or bus service to get you to the festival site.
