Wakestock Festival headline ten new additions have been added

Wakestock Festival headline that ten new additions have been added to perform which takes place at Abersoch, North Wales from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th July 2011.

Announced ten acts are Chase & Status, Zane Lowe, Wretch 32, Chiddy Bang, Nero, Caspa & Rod Azlan, Modestep, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Redlight, and YasmIn.

Also acts include Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, and Ellie Goulding, with Example, Danny Byrd, DJ Fresh, Jaguar Skills, and Jaymo & Andy George.

Wakestock Festival tickets priced at £100, and with camping is priced at £125. A quiet campsite weekend ticket is priced at £130. A campervan ticket is priced at £50. Day tickets will be on sale at a later date if sales allow.

Chase & Status latest acts confirmed to perform at Wakestock Festival 2011 with the three-day wakeboarding and music festival set to take place in and around Abersoch Bay, Wales from 8-10 July.

Other acts on the bill include Zane Lowe, Wretch 32, Nero, Caspa, Modestep, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Redlight.

Biffy Clyro, The Wombats and Ellie Goulding will headline the festival with Example, Danny Byrd, DJ Fresh and mash-up master Jaguar Skills are already confirmed to perform.

Weekend Festival tickets are still available at £100 while regular camping ticket costs £125, while a 'quiet camp site' with a strict noise curfew from 11pm – 7am is available for £130.

Wakestock Tickets for Wakestock Festival 2011

Wakestock Festival is one of the Europe’s largest wakeboard music festival.

Festival had been inaugurated by Mark Durston, which held every year in Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, in between Pwllheli and Abersoch.

The festival started in Abersoch, North Wales back in 2000, when it was a wakeboard contest with a party in a car park for 800 people, and from then on played host to some of the industries leading bands and DJ’s, along with the biggest wakeboard competition in Europe.

The second decade has been enter of this festival and becomes the part of the World Wakeboard Series.

Wakestock Festival returns in 2011 and this year the festival is going to be more entertaining and energetic as 2011 sees the line-up stronger than ever.Wakestock Festival 2011 lineup includes Biffy Clyro,Ellie Goulding,Chase and Status, The Wombats, Example and many more. Wakestock Festival headline Chase and Status are confirmed

Wakestock Festival 2011 headline that host of dance music stars adding Chase and Status at this year.

Wretch 32, Nero, Caspa, Modestep, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Redlight are already confirmed at this event, according to the festival organizers.

While Rockers Biffy Clyro and pop singer Ellie Goulding also booked for Europe’s largest music and wakeboarding festival at Abersoch, near Pwllheli, Gwynedd over three days from July 8.

Event director Stuart Galbraith said: “In a week which has seen Biffy Clyro win Best Live Act at the NME awards, huge hype building around The Wombats new single and Example destroying dancefloors across the UK on his latest tour, we are thrilled to announce that Chase and Status will be returning this year. Their Wakestock set will no doubt draw some of the biggest crowds of the weekend.

DJ and Radio 1 legend Zane Lowe will also be making a return to Llyn. His previous sets at Wakestock have been incredible and we can’t wait to welcome him back.

Grime MC and rapper Wretch 32 is one of the breakthrough acts tipped for the top in 2011 by both the BBC and MTV. His first single Traktor charted at number 5 in January, and the next single Unothodox which features Example is set for release in April. With both Example and Tinie Tempah citing Wretch as the man to watch this year we can’t wait to welcome him to Wakestock.”
